Providing Service
Service is at the heart of Overeaters Anonymous. In Mid-Hudson OA, we find that reaching out to others who still suffer strengthens our own recovery.
Whether it is leading a meeting, supporting group outreach, or serving as a sponsor, service helps us move out of isolation and into fellowship. It is a vital tool that fosters connection and helps ensure that the doors of recovery remain open for all who are seeking a new way of life.
By giving back what has been so freely given to us, we help ensure the continuity of our program and the health of our local community.
