The 7th Tradition
The 7th Tradition states that 'Every OA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.' This principle ensures that our fellowship remains independent and focused solely on our primary purpose: to carry the message of recovery to those who still suffer. We accept contributions only from OA members, honoring the spirit of self-support that keeps our community strong and accessible to all.
World Service suggests that 7th Tradition Contributions be broken down as follows:

60% to your Local Intergroup

10% to Region 6

30% to World Service Office
